With the right attachments, the Top Break can be a viable secondary for players to pull out when enemies get too close. Call of Duty: Vanguard’s Top Break
As mentioned earlier, Call of Duty: Vanguard’s Top Break is a revolver, and it is one that has never been seen in the series until now. While players may be familiar with the 357 Magnum from Call of Duty: World at War and 44 Magnum from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, this revolver is a bit different in its look and feel. Intriguingly, there are also two ways that players can set it up if they want to find success, with one providing more range and the other making the weapon deadly when it comes to close range encounters.
Best Gunsmith Attachments For Call of Duty: Vanguard’s Top Break
For Call of Duty: Vanguard players looking for the standard revolver experience where only one weapon is held, there are some clear choices. As always, the F8 Stabilzer is useful due to the recoil control and range it can provide. While the Lighweight Trigger is good to use until something better is unlocked, players should stick to the Rapid Action as soon as it is available. With the weapon being on the slow side, a quick-fire rate is crucial.
The .30 Russian Short magazine is a crucial attachment. Like with other Call of Duty: Vanguard loadouts, the magazine with the largest rounds is the best, as they deal more damage. The Wilkie W4 Stub barrel is a solid choice due to its extra range and velocity, while Lengthened rounds also help shots hit their targets faster. The Stippled Grip helps with accuracy and recoil, while Vital Focus and Surplus are the best possible perks for players that are only wielding one Top Break.
However, much like the burst fire 1911 completely transforms and improves the weapon, the dual wield version of the Top Break can be terrifying in the right hands. Aside from wreaking havoc in Call of Duty: Warzone, players can use it like a shotgun to deal some damage on small maps like Das Haus and Shipment. Alongside the Dual Wield proficiency, players will want to swap the M15 Shot Shell, which is the most important part of the build.
All the other attachments can remain the same, with the .30 Russian Short Magazine and Wilkie W4 Stub barrel both being just as essential as they are for the normal version. The M15 Shot Shell essentially turns the pair of Top Breaks into mini shotguns, though, letting players replicate the experience of the 357 Snake Shot from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Much like that setup dominated the 2019 game for several months, something similar could happen in Call of Duty: Vanguard. Before a nerf comes, all players should give the dual wield Top Break a chance.
